The Saga Continues – and Ends!

Ok, so if you read your Marketing Minute yesterday you KNOW this has been a frustrating week.  And it continued – and then got better.

So yesterday, after feeling better from “venting” to you, I left my office to meet with a client, stop at my workroom, select some fabrics, and then make copies for a presentation I gave this morning to the Triangle chapter of the WCAA.

And it was all going great til I got to the copy place and didn’t have my handout.  Yep, just didn’t have it.  So first I laughed – but then it was too close to the other “Bad” things that had happened so I had to count to ten.

So not that I had an extra hour to drive to the office and back but I did.

In the meantime, still no word from computer people! And what I didn’t tell you is they should have wanted to call me because the bank had told me my credit card had been compromised and I had to change all my standing billing to my credit card – which included my web people and THIS newsletter company.

So many hours later they call me, and sure enough – their admin had been sick for two days and they were behind on followup calls.  Ok.  Just like often happens – a legitimate reason – and being a small business, I understand.  Then they say, by the way, you never did send us a link for the higher price, so we can’t change it anyway.

Now I WAS laughing!!!  I was sure they were in the wrong and I hadn’t sent the right thing.  So I told them I decided to let everyone benefit from MY mistake, and keep my mastermind program at $147!

So I was feeling pretty good – but it wasn’t over yet.  I got up this morning to let everyone know I was keeping the price at $147 – and THIS account was closed because of my bad credit card!

But now – it is all behind me!  I corrected the card, I am keeping the program at $147, and my WCAA presentation went great!!!  So I am in the clear : )

So thanks for listening, and thank you to ALL of you who shared your frustrations and how YOU were handling them – I appreciate the support.
