Mary Larsen, local interior designer and author of "How to Open a Financially Successful Redesign, Redecorating and Home Staging Business" will be signing copies of her book, which will be available for sale at the signing.  Mary is a national speaker on the topic of design, and has been very fortunate to have done some decorating work in the Ogle home.  Her book was released this spring, and is the perfect book for those who are interested in starting their own decorating business. 

 
Even if you are not interested in a Design business, this is the perfect opportunity to visit the Historic Guess-Ogle Home
 
Proceeds from the book sales and admission fees will benefit April's Angels, a Cary based non-profit organization established to provide fantasy bedrooms for chronically ill children in Wake and surrounding counties in North Carolina.  Their mission is to bring new life into the homes of families with children whose activities outside the home are limited due to illness.
 
"I am so pleased to be able to bring my love of design and the design industry together with April's Angels.  Your surroundings can have a profound impact on your life, and I hope this fundraiser can bring some joy and peace to a child through a bedroom designed specifically for them." said Mary Larsen.
