Have You Said Thank You Lately?

Earlier today I was getting out some stamps and envelopes to pay a few bills.  The only good thing I have to say about bills is in my business it typically means if I am paying for something someone else is soon going to be paying me – and that is a good thing.

My bill paying stuff is right next to my pretty stationery, and it occurred to me that it has been some time since I sent out some thank you notes.  And it isn’t because I don’t have any notes to send, it is simply taking/making the time for them.

Well, in my hectic pace, I opted for email thank yous over written notes.  I sent out four notes I had been thinking about for some time, and even said – better by email than not at all!

And I can’t believe how good I felt when I was done! Not just to have them off my to-do list, though that felt good too.  But goodness, once you start thanking people for the things they do for you and start thinking about all of the good and grace in your life – well, it can really give you an attitude adjustment.

So, if you haven’t done it in a while, I suggest you stop what you are doing, and take 10 minutes to shoot off 3 emails to people you are grateful for and thankful to.  It might just be the mind shift you need right now!  Let me know the results!

And by the way – THANK YOU for being so supportive of all the work that I do – I really appreciate it!!  : )
